I provide individual, couples and family therapy to adults, adolescents and children. Much of my work is centered on helping people navigate through difficult transitions in life such as divorce, remarriage, or significant losses.  I have worked extensively with families struggling with addiction, and supported individuals in their recovery.  I enjoy facilitating healthier relationships between adolescents and their parents. I have experience with a wide range of issues, and work collaboratively with clients to empower them to clarify their goals in life and to develop their strengths.

I draw on my experience as a special education teacher when working with youth experiencing school related challenges. As a former parenting educator, I  combine my understanding of core parenting skills with a deep compassion for a parent’s own journey and development. I have a passion for helping people create healthier families.

I facilitate a group for middle school girls, grades 6-8. The group focuses on helping the girls build self-esteem and confidence with their peers, practice communication skills, and develop a healthy sense of self.

I completed my graduate training in clinical social work at Bryn Mawr College, and completed a  Master’s in Special Education from the University of Vermont. I am also  a graduate of the Pennsylvania Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy.

I accept some insurances. More information is available on my website at: www.MarcySeminoff.com
